Review of the greatness that is Halo 3
Well it took me a bit longer than most hardcore Halo fans, but Sunday I finished the campaign. I still have to do Heroic/Legendary and I am doing that in Co-op mode. The campaign was a little short maybe, but at the same time I thought it was well done. The story was very solid I thought especially after Halo 2. The graphics are terrific in my opinion and little things like visuals blurring when you accelerate in a vehicle makes the game even better. I loved the way the story ended and make sure you watch all the way through the ending of the game after the credits.
Well now to the multi-player. I am only a Sgt. but I love multi-player as I did in Halo 2. The armor permutations are a awesome add-on to the multi-player experience. I only have a couple like the Mark V helmet, the complete E.V.A set, complete C.Q.B set, and the O.D.S.T helmet. Forge and the theater are the other new editions to multi-player. Forge is pretty neat and I have did a variant on the new version of Zanzibar. The theater is really great and works for campaign/multi-player alike.
To sum it up this game is great! I am a Halo fan so I am sure that I am seeing with rose colored glasses some, but it is a solid game. We can only hope Halo Wars will be as fun.

The third time was not the charm!
Well folks my optical drive crapped out so I am having another 360 repair (4th repair). To say the least I am pissed and the console is boxed on my shipping dock here at work. They gave me a copy of Kameo last time it broke and they gave me a choice of accessories (limited) or a game. The only new game you can get outside of PGR3, Kameo, or so other launch title is Forza 2(surprised to find that one). I do not play alot of car games so I am getting a black wireless controller. They are overnighting the console back to me so I can have it back before the launch of Halo 3. I also heard on the latest episode of the GamerCast Network's Video Game Show that people have gotten loaner 360's while there system was being repaired. At that point shouldn't they just advance replace it. Anyway, I am just counting the days till I get it back. Probably will be around Sept 20 or so. That is just sad that I had my 360 repaired so many times I can eyeball the day I should get it back and it be pretty close to on the money.

EA Sports NCAA Football 2008 Review
I got NCAA Football 2008 the day it came out ( was too tired for the midnight release.
Last year NCAA Football was okay, but most people did not car for it. This latest installment is definitely a better all around game. The difference in frame rate is noticeable better and last years version there was lots of lag switching better menus.
As for the game play, it runs smooth and looks/plays great! The super-sim feature is awesome, because it lets you simulate through a play, to the next quarter, or to the end of the game. The different modes work well also. The mini-games are the same bowling, tug-a-war, and I forget the last but the mini-games are exactly that forgettable for me anyway. The Dynasty mode works very well and the recruiting part of the Dynasty mode is way more elaborate than in previous years. The biggest change is the new mode Campus Legend. This mode is similar to last year's Madden Superstar mode, which I hated. I did not hate this version on NCAA 08. The reason why is because the mode is not in first person like superstar mode in Madden 07. It is in fact in third person view, which lets you see easier around you. If Superstar mode in Madden 07 was in third person that would have made a big difference.
On a similar not I will be getting Madden and will review that in the near future.

This at least looks like a sweet Blu-Ray player/receiver. The blue display with the deep black background looks rad. It appears to have some sort of itunes capabilities. Sure it costs an shitload of cash.

Phoenix Lander gears up to dig in on Mars
I love anything with Space Exploration in general. The fact that we will have a nice big lander go to Mars is so cool! Here is to hoping and praying it can land right on that great day in May 2008 and it launches in August or Plans on it anyway.Hope they get it inspected so they do not get pulled over by the SPACE POLICE!

Here comes football!!!!
Well with training camps around the corner and college games not too far behind this is when the fun really starts. Fantasy football with buddies from work and crap like that. Next month NCAA 2008 is what I want and I pre-ordered it. From what guys at gamertagradio.com are saying is that it looks and feels better. You can share video and pictures of gameplay with friends over xbox live. Kind of what we saw in the H3 Beta and that is really a cool thing for the online experience.
I will wait to rent Madden 2008 as it has burned me the last couple of times. The last good Madden game for me was Madden 2006 (xbox 1) and so I hope this Madden will be better.
Come on Foolsball!!!!

Halo 3 beta nears end.......BTW Twitter blows!
Well I hope everyone has loved the H3 beta I know I have been loving it. All the leaks of the new features keeps spilling out and they are hot son. I can not wait for it to come out and maybe Nelson at AJ will get use to it so his dad does not call him like he did about Shadow Run (I played the beta I did not really like).
Leo Laporte said that Twitter was no good and Jaiku was the in thing. He was not joking Jaiku is way better. I love all the feeds you can put in like this useless blog no one reads.
Hey Nelson, if you piss your Dad off he might send someone like this after you.

Dashboard Update and Halo 3 Beta
Well everyone knows about the the dash update and it is kinda cool I guess.
The 2 big things are seeing the exact achievement you are getting and also seeing the game in the tray instead of seeing "Play Game" or whatever. Overall I would give the dash update a B- *giggle*.
Well now for the fun shit! This game is just in the beta and it is crazy. If you do not like Halo you still will not like it, but if you are a nut about the Halo games. Well, watch out this game is so much better already. New game types, maps, weapons, and deployable items are all either new or upgraded. The Assault Rifle is back and man is it awesome and do not forget the new spike grenades. These new grenades do so much more in the way it sticks versus plasma. Walking around with gun turrets or deployable grav. lifts.......RAD! Anyway, the last random shot is the racking is more military based. For example, instead of just a number your a private and then you slowly advance. Pretty cool so far and do not forget to rock you socks!

Just a rant...........
So I know that I don't say alot on here for all you that read this (no-one).
Life gets in the way, you know? I of course love this day! I got to work this morning and opened my FireFox. My browse defaults to multiple tabs when it opens and the first tab is my Google RSS reader. I see my Major Nelson feed saying "Halo 3 Beta Dates Announced". I crapped myself like I should when seeing something so fantastic as that. The release of Halo 3 later will be so awesome and good strong.
On another note I have spoken about this thing called 1310AM theticket. It is one of my favorite things to listen to and yes it is alot of sports, but with lots of comedy. In some ways kind of like SNL and sports radio (not exactly but you get the point). The major shows on this station all week are in a house and can not leave the premise. The broadcast from there and just guys being guys. Goofing around and doing silly shows at night instead of national broadcasts that hit the air by 10pm usually. Anyway, I gonna go play xbox PEACE!

Get your F'N Def Jam on!
Well after a family tradegy and me getting married another tradegy we're back. We are back in da hood that is with Def Jam Icon. The graphics in Def Jam are fantastic! It is alot of fun creating your "homie". There is a build a label mode where you sign rappers and fight promoters for them like E-40, The Game, and Mike Jones to name a few. The fighting styles our not the greatess, but are good. The gameplay is pretty good overall and once again the graphics are so well done it makes the game really really good in my opinion.
I have not got to go online and I am still trying to finish Crackdown. It is just making the time to check up with it all. Anyways, if you do not mind alot of bad language you should at least give Def Jam a rent.
Kooter!!!

Xbox Live Rewards and Laptops are Cool!!!
Well so far we have one month to go before the first rewards period is completed. I am almost at level 2 which means you are between at certain amount in your gamerscore. Starting at 5000 and up to a certain score to reach level 3. I think I will get a reward but takes time and I do not have as much free time as others to fly through it. I think it is a neat idea and I think gets people a little more ramped up to get points. They do need to increase the "rewards" for it to stick I think or it will be real short lived. I am posting this using my wife to be's laptop. It is a HP running Vista that I got as a late x-mas gift. Anyway, I had not posted in a while so this is one to hold off till I finish a longer one.

Why People with the vision cam are A$$holes.........
When I say people with the Vision Cam are A-holes. I do not mean literally everyone, but there are alot. I have the camera and everyone plays UNO with it that has one. Before the camera UNO was a nice place and now it is like H.S. part of the reason there is alot of highschoolers on there. Now it is a popularity contest or people are using the pregame lobby as a flash fest since the video chat is one on one. Now I can not say I have not received nude shots of woman and yes my wife's sweet ass in a g-string has been my gamer pic. People are just harsh on there now. Can't we all get along get tore up on cam be silly/nasty and all like eachother. I mean give me a break it is so hard to find nice people on there to just talk to hang out with and play cards. So anyway be nice or receive feedback that is undesirable.
STAY HARD AND KEEP JAMMING

Crackdown Review After the first day of playing......
Well yesterday I got my prepaid copy of Crackdown (HELL YES H3!!).
All Kidding aside I really like Crackdown. A friend and I played co-op on the demo and it was really fun. The game is really good, but with co-op and additional content coming really makes the game pretty solid. It may not have alot of replay value once beating the game. Hopefully, not too far after you get kind of tired of playing it the H3 beta will open YA! Anyway, at least rent it I think you peeps will like it or you can keep playing Viva Pinata. Just kidding do not freak..........

I love my 360....here comes Crackdown
Well Folks.........all that read this (no one).
So far my 360 is still working after the 3rd repair. It has froze a couple of times nothing serious. Been playing alot trying to get Xbox Rewards. The rewards team did have some website issues and seemed to be a recent as last night. I am trying to move fast trying to get the 1500 pts because everyone loves to have rewards.
So Crackdown releases (drops as the kids love to say) I prepaid mine at the Gamestop near my work. Yes I want the Beta but I got it because Crackdown is really fun. I hope by the time I am tired of it the Halo 3 Multiplayer beta will be ready to start.
Right now I been playing Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and been trying to play Rainbow Six: Vegas just having trouble getting into it. The marvel game is pretty cool if you like comics and a easy way to get gamer points. That is a big reason to play for me trying to get rewards to bring this entry full circle.
Anyway, go play some damn games and get rewards have fun!
