EA Sports NCAA Football 2008 Review

I got NCAA Football 2008 the day it came out ( was too tired for the midnight release.
Last year NCAA Football was okay, but most people did not car for it. This latest installment is definitely a better all around game. The difference in frame rate is noticeable better and last years version there was lots of lag switching better menus.

As for the game play, it runs smooth and looks/plays great! The super-sim feature is awesome, because it lets you simulate through a play, to the next quarter, or to the end of the game. The different modes work well also. The mini-games are the same bowling, tug-a-war, and I forget the last but the mini-games are exactly that forgettable for me anyway. The Dynasty mode works very well and the recruiting part of the Dynasty mode is way more elaborate than in previous years. The biggest change is the new mode Campus Legend. This mode is similar to last year's Madden Superstar mode, which I hated. I did not hate this version on NCAA 08. The reason why is because the mode is not in first person like superstar mode in Madden 07. It is in fact in third person view, which lets you see easier around you. If Superstar mode in Madden 07 was in third person that would have made a big difference.

On a similar not I will be getting Madden and will review that in the near future.
